It can be turned on at the beginning, but after the diagnostic card is plugged in, the diagnostic card does not run, thinking that the CPU is not compatible. It still doesn’t work after changing the CPU, and the memory is also changed, of course it doesn’t work either. The problem lies in the motherboard, which may be deformed and cause it to fail to start. Because when the motherboard shows that the heat sink behind the chip is pressed, the motherboard actually starts up, and the diagnostic card is out of power, that is, the motherboard cannot output signals. If you have this problem, you can’t start it again with energized contacts. You need to press the display chip on the back of the graphics card, and you have to keep pressing it, and you can’t move it continuously, so that the diagnostic card will have a digital display. Bend the board a little bit and the board will get power too. It is likely that the fault caused by the solder joints behind the display chip is weak. After all, the display chip is responsible for graphics operations for a long time, and the load rate is high. Moreover, it is very hot, and it is prone to false welding. In particular, the integrated display chip on the motherboard has many faults, and it would be better if it is a discrete graphics card with a large fan.
If you want to repair it, you can’t fix it yourself, unless you find a store that specializes in motherboard repair. Moreover, the maintenance cost of this second-hand motherboard is much higher than the cost of the motherboard itself. It’s better to let it recover slowly and use it if it works. If you can’t, then buy a second-hand motherboard that can be used, and it should be equipped with a better discrete graphics card.
It is estimated that the motherboard is out of use and needs to be replaced. Electronic products are like this, with a long service life. If the repair cost is higher than the price of the electronic product itself, it is better to replace it within the scope of one’s ability. Just improve the user experience. You can’t be obsessed with bad hardware, or you’ll just waste your time, yourself.
