PET: Polyethylene terephthalate, a colorless, transparent and very tough material with good crystallinity. It has a glass appearance, tasteless, odorless, non-toxic, and flammable. When burning, the flame is yellow, the edge is blue, and it has good air tightness. Small expansion coefficient, low molding shrinkage rate, only 0.2%, only one tenth of polyolefin, less than PVC and nylon, so the product size is stable. Both mineral water bottles and carbonated beverage bottles are made of this material. However, this material is easily deformed at high temperatures. Compared with PVC, PET has good optical properties and weather resistance, non-toxic and stable, but it is not resistant to high temperature and alkali. Identifying PET bottles is very simple. Burned it with a lighter. If it smells of comfort, it’s a pet. If it emits a pungent smell, it is not pure PET.

PVC and PC are transparent plastic.
